Naohiro Ninomiya
Naohiro Ninomiya (Nagoya, Japan °1969) lives and workes in Strassbourg since 1998. Waterfalls are a place of mystery for Naohiro Ninomiya where he feels an indescribable, inhuman presence that both frightens and intrigues. His series “Taki” made with a Toyo Viez camera is inspired by a 14th century Shinto-Buddhist painting of Nachi waterfall.
