Laurence Aëgerter

Laurence Aëgerter ( 1972 Marseille, France) works of Colorfield Phaedra evoke the effect on the human mind of living on the edge of sanity due to unrequited love. Aëgerter asked actress Chris Nietvelt to perform scenes from Racine’s famous play Phèdre (1677) in front of three famous Color Field paintings of Stella, Noland and Kelly from the Stedelijk Museum collection and captured the scenes on photo
